This workshop is suitable for beginners and advanced students. As drawing from a real model is a challenge for most people, we recommend that absolute drawing beginners practise the basics first and attend our basic drawing workshop, for example.
In this week, we will teach you the most important measuring techniques you need to draw from a model. You will learn the basics of human anatomy and which important anchor points are essential to know when transferring proportions.
You will practise line quality and transitions or shading in order to correctly depict the volume and shape of the human body. Our teachers will also show you important tips and tricks on how to control and correct yourself when working from a model.
After the first shorter drawings, you will finally work on a detailed study over several days of the same model in the same pose. Here you can then work on more details to bring out even more similarity from the model.
