You have never painted with oil before or simply need more structure and the basics of oil painting? In that case, this is the right place for you.
In this 10-day workshop you simply combine our basic oil painting workshop with an advanced workshop of your choice. This can be the Still Life in Oil or the Old Master Copies Workshop.
In the first week we start with an introduction to the materials. You will learn all about painting surfaces, media, oil paint, brushes, cleaning etc. in order to build up or expand your general knowledge. Various exercises are then carried out to deepen your knowledge. At the end of the first week, you will have painted your first small still life and will be able to distinguish between warm and cold colors and use them in a targeted manner.In the second week, you will continue with the workshop of your choice. Whether still life or old master copies, you will definitely practice using more colors and also get to know and use various well-known palettes. Please take a look at the exact content:
