In this workshop, teachers from the Academy of Fine Art will teach you the important basics of modeling with clay. Of course, this also includes the basics such as material science. Before starting, participants will receive step-by-step instructions to introduce them to the methodology and materials. You have the choice between the four David fragments mouth, eye, nose and ear and will learn the basic principles of modeling using these fragments over a total of five days.
Enjoy working with your hands and be interested in learning about an ancient artistic craft. For everything else, you will receive further information by e-mail after your registration.

Please note that the sculpture you will create in this workshop will not be a final object. For example, you can learn how to make a casting mold in our separate casting workshop or, if you want to preserve your sculpture, you can take it to a local distillery. We can also give you recommendations if you would like to have a mold made.

(Material costs such as clay and fittings are already included in the price. If you need modeling wood, you can buy it from us on site).
